First, I tried to mail unc!tim a reply and every path I tried
returned my mail.  I am therefor replying via net.flame.

Despite Tim's claims to the contrary his reply to my article on
C. Burt's twin studies was a personal attack on me.  To
paraphrase Tim's last line "educated people give references."
Sorry Tim, but I did not have references readily available.
Also, sorry Tim, but your reply to me did not ask for references.
References have been given, and I if you want to debate the
issues surrounding C. Burt's twin studies I will be happy to
oblige you.  Instead of debating the issues or asking for
information, you chose to make slurs.

As for whuxle!eric's statements regarding your behavior, they
are true.  I have observed exactly the same behavior from you.
To use your fight analogy, you were not sitting by placidly, you
were in the ring throwing punches.  You shouldn't be surprised
if someone throws a punch your way.  

Finally, on your last comment "In other words: ...", to paraphrase
you most civilized people don't resort to such language.
