Unfortunately, the times that I have been tailgated this has not been true. The more common situation that I have been in has been that I am passing a car on the Interstate which is going a bit slower than I want to go (say, he is doing 54 and I want to do 60), and some Florida Cowboy who wants to go 20mph faster than me (80mph+) blasts up onto my tail and rides there about 7.5 inches from my bumper. Then, when I am able to get over into the right hand lane, blasts by so close that he removes the dust from my side trim. Rich Strebendt ...!ihnp4!ihuxn!res
