Lines: 18 I just returned from a ski trip and we had to ride a bus a l-o-n-g way. I want to know why human factors hasn't entered into the minds of bus designers. Does anyone actually find those damn buses comfortable enough even for a short nap?? Those seats must have been designed by a Nazi! Torture was definitely foremost in their minds. Is it that difficult to make the seats comfortable? I'd think after all these years of bus travel they would have gotten it right! Now I know planes aren't a hell of a lot better on the comfort scale but at least they give you a movie and something to drink. And the seats are a little better. And the trips don't seem near as long. Why hasn't any organization (ASPIS-American Society for the Prevention of Inhumane Seating) come to the aid of all these millions of travelers? Stand up and be counted! Travelers of the world unite; you have nothing to lose but your stiff necks! Sharon Badian sore as hell and unable to take anymore!
