At the time I was living in Easton, PA. and needed to go to Harrisburg, which is about 90 miles (1 hr. 45 mins. doing the speed limit.). The first city we pulled into was Allentown (about 15 miles) for a twenty minute rest stop. It only gets worse from there. In defense of buses, however, I had several occasions to bus from Easton to NYC. Again, about 90 miles and 1 hr. 45 mins. away. That trip was an exprss and got me to the city in the quickest, easiest, most restful manner, in which I ever made the trip. The moral, if you are going to take a bus, take an express if it is available. It *IS* worth the extra couple of bucks. If you have to take a local, be prepared for a **LONG, BORING** trip. Remember, you meet some of the most interesting people on buses.
