Lines: 27 From: Steve Hammond Ha!! Now if I had put wombats in the title I bet half of you would have pressed "n" wouldn't you??? No one said that I had to play fair. Of course there is general interest in wombats, just like cabbage patch dolls and pet rocks(long ago)(oops I probably shouldn't use parentheses here). The quickest way to kill off this topic of broad interest is to create a special newsgroup for it. It's fun because so many people take life so seriously and get annoyed by such simple things as running out of toilet paper in the bathroom, drivers who want to go faster than they do, wombats and giant tree sloths. Now all of you are caught in a bind aren't you. This is net.flame and if you flame about the influx of interesting wombat articles then you are simply adding to the very cause that you seek to destroy. Has anybody thought of posting 1001 things to do with a wombat, dead or alive? steve hammond (sinner from NY) uucp: (seismo | allegra)!rochester!steve arpa: steve@rochester p.s. Rumor has it that a certain (!fish) makes frequent weekend trips to East Germany with lots of luggage(!!!) and it is there that he has learned his hatred for wombats.
