This is the "information age". Where previously you had to pay unduly high prices for food (the agricultural age) and manufactured goods (the industrial age), today you must pay these same, inflated prices for information. But just to show what a good guy I am, I am going to give you a free sample of used information which you may enhance by buying a brand new 1984 piece of information. The area of a circle, A, is given by the formula, A=pi*r^2, where r is the radius of the circle and pi is a constant rumored to be between 3 and 4. Now I have another formula which allows you to compute (to as many places of accuracy as you want) the value of this "magic constant", pi. However, to obtain this formula, you must send cash. So, Turner, you want information, you pay. TANSTAAFL, you fool. From the truly menacing, /- -\ but usually underestimated <-> and soon to be gone, Frank Adrian (tektronix!tekcad!franka)
