     As a frequent long-distance driver, I have seen numerous instances of
trucks pulled over for speeding.  The thing is, with their networks of CB
information and their tendency to "convoy", they are usually aware of the
speed traps and can usually slow down before entering the "critical" region.
A driver who likes to exceed the speed limit can follow the faster trucks (or
those matching his pace), either closely or from about 1/4 mile behind, and
by keeping pace will naturally slow down to < 60 mph as the speed trap 
approaches.
     Only once have I seen a bus pulled over, but it was looking for trouble.
As I was heading west on I-70 in Ohio, this bus came motoring past in excess
of 70 mph.  Within minutes, I had lost view of it, but sure enough, not too
many miles later, it was pulled over on the side being ticketed.  So don't
think they're immune; they just don't get caught so much.
     ***** Bonus speed trap for net.readers who've gotten this far in this
article without skipping on:   In New Jersey where they are notorious for
enforcing 55, there's a killer spot where the Troopers like to wait.  Going
west on I-78, as you approach exit 7, you come over one of these hills where
you naturally accelerate as yo go over the top.  Patrol cars are often waiting
on the median at the bottom of that hill, and you can't see them till you're
upon them.  It is EASY to get caught (I did it once and am now EXTREMELY
cautious in that region).
