Oh  heavens.  Now that the real reasons for Reaganomics are
showing up <increased willingness by industrial types to 
better their production capabilities, etc>  Martin Taylor
feels perfectly at home claiming that Reagan's economic policies
are so disastrous that a "poor economy" is perceived as good.
He uses the fact (Yes, FACT) that the economy is improving
under Reagan's policies as an argument that the policies are
bad.

Expletive it, Martin, your idea of a "good economy" like Jimmy 
Carter's, or even Richard Outhouse Nixon's is pretty warped.
Of course, you might want to argue that theirs (JEC/RMN's) is even worse,
but then how can you complain about Reagan's, if it's "bad"
but infinitely better?  (Well, that question is rhetorical,
you certainly DO.)

How indeed?  It's clear. (Or at least seems to be clear to me,
from your article.)  You hate the man, you may hate the idea
of personal responsibility, and you really can't stand seeing
yourself proved wrong, so you have to rationalize away your
own mistakes.

Please, Martin, if you want to start a discussion, say WHAT
you want to discuss.  Emotional arguments can be left
care of rabbit!/dev/null if you like, reasonable arguments might
be worthwhile in net.flame.  Hate mongering has the following effects:
	1) It prejudices undecided people (justifiably) against you.
	2) It annoys the <> out of a lot of other people, and
	3) It doesn't even make YOU feel better over the long run,
because you wind up in so many fruitless arguments.

Enough hate. If you like hate, move to Iran.
