For Snoopy and all those who have been telling me I am wrong about the
55 mph speed limit.  I did not advocate, defend, nor promote the 55 mph
speed limit in any of my musings on the net.  I think it is a crock too.
The argument started when some nerd out there was trying to defend his
speeding at some 95 mph in a residential zone because he has some kind
of auto that stops on a dime.  Then some other bubblehead came up with
a defense for tailgaiting.  All I said was that cars can not stop on a
dime and that tailgating was as stupid as hell.

Finally, another egg-sucking fool said that he thought that traffic
regulations were for the other guy, not him.  Well, what can I say?

I think the speed limit should go back to 65, where it is feasible,
and tailgaters be shot on sight.  That goes for traffic weavers too.
