It has to be one of the WORST tasting food-stuffs that there is. My father brought a jar back from Australia. Apparently, it is a yeast derivative, that has a dark green color, a paste-like texture, and a flavor that can't be put into words (I would say that it approximated something dead or rotting.) It came in a little jar about 2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches across, with the warning: "Spread Sparingly". It should have had the warning "For External Use Only". It also said that it can be used as a spread for crackers, breads, and biscuits. You can have it. If someone ever "Gave Me a Vegemite Sandwich" I would keep an eye on them. B.C.M. uiucdcs!uicsl!mather
