I completely agree that Vegemite is a strong contender for the
world's worst tasting food.  It is virtually identical to another
product called "Marmite", much beloved (God alone knows why) by many
in the UK.  I was informed that it is a by-product of breweries, and
I think that it is completely fair to call it industrial waste!
