After reading Ken Perlow's admonition on my use of "(sp?)", I feel
abashed.  I weep, I hang my head in shame, I beat my breast (mea
culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa and what ever it is in Hebrew
that Jews say on Yom Kippur), I shall turn in my three-piece grey
flannel suit for sackcloth and a hair shirt, I grovel, I cry "Let
the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was
said, a man-child has appeared.  Why is light given to him that is
in misery, and life to the bitter in soul?"

OK, Ken, I will not use "(sp?)", and I will get a dictionary for the
office.  Thanks for returning my copy of Strunk and White.
