One person that I played under once let me (as an 11th level cleric)
do in a bunch of orcs (and I mean a BUNCH, several hundred in a valley)
by drowning them all in Lime Jello (JH eat your heart out).

I don't think it's valid AD&D, though, I don't think you really can
specify the kind of food you get, and I doubt if your deity 
<of course, it DOES depend on your deity> would approve if you
were a Good alignment.
