Message-ID: <316@hou5h.UUCP> Date: Wed, 4-Jan-84 15:48:20 EST Article-I.D.: hou5h.316 Posted: Wed Jan 4 15:48:20 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 6-Jan-84 01:03:27 EST Organization: AT&T Information Systems Laboratories, Holmdel, NJ Lines: 12 I recently read Sid Sackson's book "A Gamut of Games". Focus seemed the most interesting of that collection. Focus is a game not unlike Go though it is quite unique. It was invented by Sid Sackson and appeared in Martin Gardner's Mathematical Games column in Scientific American, October 1963. If you are interested I can mail you a copy of the rules. Gordon (I have never played before, so no Focus Grand Masters please.)
