I got a "ding" letter from Bill Joy, saying that Sun Microsystems
didn't have any positions available from me in software development.
The day before I had interviewed for a hardware job at Sun with Andy
Bechtolsheim.  I got the hardware job.

People make mistakes, too.  Even Bill Joy.
