He was very nervous, as the interview was his first, and the company that he was interviewing with was quite large. They had been impressed with his resume' - tonight he was having dinner with "THE BOSS". As soon as they arrived at the restaurant, Jim had to immediately excuse himself to go to the bathroom. While he was 'taking care of business', he noticed that the gentleman standing next to him was Gerald Ford! Well, this just made him even more nervous... soon Mr. Ford noticed that Jim was having problems, and asked why he was so nervous. Jim explained the situation, while the ex-president nodded understandingly. Finally, Mr. Ford suggested that perhaps he could drop by Jims' dinner table, just to say "Hi!". Jim was ecstatic. He profusely thanked Mr. Ford, and returned to his table. He was talking and eating with his boss when, true to his word, Mr. Ford walked up. "Jim," he said, "how are you? Long time no see!". Jim looked up and said, "Leave me alone Jerry, can't you see I'm eating?"
