My two daughters (ages 18mo and 3yr) received, of course, way more gifts than they needed or could easily absorb all at once (including an original Cabbage Patch Doll, a Teach and Learn Computer, and much much more). (I think this comes from having three pair of distant grandparents - all of whom feel if they can't be there at least they can send gifts, and gifts, and gifts...) The biggest hit seemed to be a pair of $0.50 ``magic bottles'' - the type you tip over (say into a dolls mouth) and they seem to drain, and you tip back and they seem to refill. oh well.
