I have been informed that a number of attempts to mail to me in the recent past have been failing. Examination of the uucp LOGFILE on ccieng5 indicates that at least 4 attempts to mail to me have failed, apparently because people are trying to mail to me on ccieng5. I do not live on ccieng5; I live on ccieng2. I submit articles from ccieng5 because ccieng2 is not technically or officially on the net yet; we lack disc space to support it due to other work. I've never noticed what inews does to headers when the -f option is specified to change the apparent submitter's name (I generally submit with "inews -t ... -f ccieng2!kfk"), so I don't know what the header looks like; in any case, it should probably be disregarded. For those who have been trying to get to me, recom- mended paths are ...!seismo!rochester!ritcv!ccieng5!ccieng2!kfk ...!allegra!rochester!ritcv!ccieng5!ccieng2!kfk ...!rlgvax!ccieng5!ccieng2!kfk Note that ccieng5 is the "company access" machine; you get to any other of ccieng? via that one. If you tried to mail to me in the last 3 days or so, I didn't get it. Karl Kleinpaste ...![ [seismo, allegra]!rochester!ritcv, rlgvax]!ccieng5!ccieng2!kfk
