I made a general purpose "nameserver" interface to sendmail to
do this function -- I'll post the details to net.sources.

The basic idea is to enable the RHS of a rewrite rule to call
an arbitrary C program.  The address/argument is passed to the
nameserver which prints the translation to a stdout pipe to
sendmail.
