I would like to share comments and experiences with other users of this printer. I plan to use QUME-style rather than DIABLO print wheels with it, since I prefer their typestyles. I have not yet found any good source for a pretty proportional space daisy wheel, such as "Madeleine". By the way, the purchase price was $1028, including shipping, pretty good, I think, for a letter quality 40 cps printer. (From the "Computer Mail" mail order house.) FW treats the printer as uni-directional for word processing output. (In "serial", unidirectional mode, the printer has more functionality.) I wonder if anyone has a public program for this printer that runs it bidirectionally, while giving decent formatting output.
