Does anyone have experience with a Data Base software package
other than Dbase II by Ashton-Tate for the IBM PC ?

The major requirement is that the software allows more than one
or two Data Bases open at a time. Dbase II is too limited in that
it only allows 32 fields (254 charatcter MAX) and 1000 Character
Maximum lenght record. Hopefully with the ability to use two or 
more Data Bases at one time, the data could be divided among the 
different files.

Speed of operations (ie. SORT, READ, FIND, etc...) is a consideration
however the main concern is the limitation of files open simultaneously
such as imposed by Dbase II (c Ashton-Tate).

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
