I currently have an epson mx-80 but I am thinking of getting an epson fx-80
for the higher print speed and additional features.  I have a serial to
parallel board in the mx-80 with a 2K buffer.  What I need to know is
whether the serial to parallel board for the mx-80 will also work in
the fx-80, or if I need to get a new serial to parallel converter.  Note
that the current converter plugs into a circuit board in the mx-80 so
the innards of the two epsons must be similar.
