The drive motor never shuts off after the power is turned on and the C-64 can't access it at all. I poked around inside with a scope and all the power supply voltages and clock signals on the 6502 seemed fine and the address and data lines had activity on them. Has anybody had a drive go bad in this way and know what might be wrong? Alternatively, does anybody know if the schematic and/or ROM contents for the 1541 is available somewhere? I hate to spend $100 or so to fix a drive suffering from a blown $1 chip. Thanks. Allan Weber WEBER@USC-ECLC -------
