A couple of years ago there was an article in Creative Computing
(I think) called HEAPSORT, with a listing to sort a collection
of numbers. I wrote a routine around it to compare strings
pairwise, trying first the first letter, then the next, etc
of the strings. Runs reasonaabbly well, and i think i can
still find it. If interested, call me on 201-949-1871.
