I'd like to get a modem (possibly underwritten by my company) to talk to the unix mini-computer at work. Eventually, I'd like to get a monitor and a printer for my own use and the company's. At that point I could return the TI 745 of the company's that I keep at home. My question is: Does anyone have experience with trying to do what I suggest? In particular, how does the 37 column limitation of the Atari work when the mini expects an 80 column format? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to buy until I know what the capabilities and limitations are. Thanks in advance, Gregg W. Aughenbaugh Central Services Organization
