The program I like the best of the 4 different one that I own is The Terminal Emulator from APX. It allows you to use either 40 or 80 column display by mapping the characters into a scroll mode. By hitting the shift and the START keys at the same time, when it is in 80 column mode, you can scroll the right-most characters onto the screen. Clancy Malloy AT&T Bell Labs
