I've seen a couple of messages about this so I'll post this
even though I'm sure a lot of folks already know about it:

There is a disk of utilities sold by Commodore called (I think)
the Bonus Package (it's also available on tape(s) - but with a
lot of the programs deleted). One of the programs on this disk is
one called 1541 BACKUP which is used to make copies of disks with
one disk drive. I recommend that all VIC/C64 owners who own a disk
drive purchase this disk. There's more on it than this copy utility
(including a disk-to-disk copy routine) and it's worth the $20-$30.
