The issue ("Feb. 6" ?) of InfoWorld that arrived yesterday (Monday, Jan. 23)
had a late-breaking report that Jack Tramiel (sp.? Trameil ?) had resigned
as vice-chairman of Commodore for "personal reasons".
The chairman congratulated Tramiel on his past successes at Commodore,
and gave the usual "gold watch"-style send-off speech.
There was no mention of anything like a management style difference
or any other things that would suggest an ouster,
nor was there a mention of any desire on his part 
to get involved in other ventures,
(like a start-up to build a PCjr for $100 retail ?).
There was no mention of medical problems, either,
although that is my current guess.

The question for the net is, of course, why did Tramiel leave ?
