The Persyst boards we use have a MUCH lower failure rate than any other. 2. The clock battery lasts a long time as opposed to AST which lasts about 6-8 months. 3. They have good expansion modules (dual serial ports, etc.) 4. The Quadram board manages to foul-up other boards with the placement of there hardware clock addresses. I have a few other reasons but those are my main ones. Good luck. - Howard
