It will include a SSDD 5-1/4 disk with 184K capacity. It will also support 25 line video with 40 chars on a TV and 40 or 80 chars on a monitor. The unit connects to the 40 pin expansion connector on the bottom of the 100 and comes with a zero-force insertion socket. Many new BASIC commands are added to support the disk and video. A second disk drive can be added. A minimum of 16K of RAM is needed to support the unit. Prices and catalog numbers: 26-3806 Disk/Video Monitor Interface - $799.00 26-3807 2nd disk drive - $239.95 Tandy also dropped the price of the Model 100 by $200.
