I would like to get some names of those who like this editor (perchance to eventually start a news group? Probably not that, but maybe...). If you are not sure whether the 'e' that you have is the Rand editor, try invoking it with a file name - the Rand editor will draw a window on your screen and display the file in it. To start off some discussion, I need the mods to e which will allow it to run under the 4.2 signal 'fix'. Anyone hacked it yet? I'm told that Rand has, but cannot get a response from them on it. I have a set of learn lessons for e, and have added some features (power typing, tabs and margin indicators, etc., etc.) that I'm willing to pass around if anyone's interested. I understand Dave Yost has added insert/delete line to the pseudo-curses stuff in e.d.c; anyone have that? Oh, well, here's hoping someone out there is listening. -- Lyle McElhaney (hao,brl-bmd,nbires,csu-cs,scgvaxd)!denelcor!lmc
