Not to be a party-pooper or anything, but am I the only person who
thinks that this discussion is getting slightly far afield from what
net.motss is all about?  I think that both the topic of meritocracy
vs. mobocracy and the question of English pronouns are interesting
subjects, but I suspect that they would be more fruitfully discussed
in net.politics and net.nlang, respectively.  Does anyone agree?
