OK since everyone else is posting memorable scenes (peer pressure, right?),
I thought I'd join the crowd:

From Videodrome (one of the funniest movies in history)
A technician standing next to a wall says "See you in Pittsburgh", and explodes
blowing a gaping hole in the wall. (No reasoning behind his fulmination).
