I just saw Terms of Endearment last night, and I take issue with
the 'voice of Doris.'  My coddle-brained memory recalls Doris as the
wife of the Iowa farmer.  HOWEVER, I don't recall hearing her!!
When he was in the laundry room talking, I presume a woman's voice was
heard.....why would they have dubbed M. K. Place's voice over a
young woman's as she spoke in front of the camera??  BTW, I know
Place's voice rather well (her first album is one of my guilty pleasures)
and I use this to support my hunch.

Any other takers??
