I thought the "stinking badges line was from a comedy western with Rod  
Steiger and James Coburn, that I can't recall the name of.  Steiger was
a Mexican revolutionary in the Pancho Villa era, and Coburn was an IRA
bomber on the lam in Mexico.  The other line from that movie was
"Duck, you sucker!", which Coburn said whenever he blew something up.
