Here is a list (although brief) of the music rags out there....

Jazz: Down Beat - Discussions of jazz records, etc.  It's still primarily
	concerned with jazz, but also covers various things on the fringes,
	including various "fusion" musics, the "new music" (the December
	1983 issue has an article on Philip Glass), and some of the more
	serious/interesting rock music.
Folk: Sing Out - THE magazine for people who listen to folk music and
	those who play it.
Keyboards: Keyboard - It covers all aspects of keyboard music: rock, jazz,
	classical, other;  piano, synthesizer, organ;  equipment, technique,
	artists (profiles, interviews, discographies);  reviews of equipment,
	recordings, sheet music, books;  the music business.
Guitarist: Guitar Player - interviews, discussions of guitars and players.
Guitarist: Frets - Not really sure. Probably pretty close to Guitar Player,
	although probably centers more on the instrument.
Misc: Music Sound Output - for `serious' musicians.  
Punk: Class War - A British publication mainly concerned with Oi and Skinhead
	music.  They dislike Clash, Sex Pistols and Ramones.
Punk: Punk - Reviews of Bands, record deals, etc.  (Color posters of Wattie
	or Beki Bondage)
New Wave: Trouser Press - deals with the NEW music. 


For most of these I can get the subscription addresses.  Write if you want
them.
