The band was named after the quote from Clockwork Orange.

In the same vein, the band The Shoes is named after a quote
from John Lennon, who, when asked why they were called the Beatles,
responded that they could have as easily been called the Shoes.

"Meanwhile, I'm still thinking." (Quick, where's that from?)
