Instead of posting a newgroup message which travels all over the net, post it to something like local.msg.ctl, which keeps it within your own sphere of influence. Whenever I need to create a newsgroup which seems to be missing from my systems, I do something similar to: inews -t newgroup net.jisatsu -n local.msg.ctl
