Huh?  I found fixing vnews to be pretty trivial!  It didn't involve any
longjmp/setjmp stuff either!  All that was needed was to fiddle with the
interrupt mask word (sigblock/sigsetmask) in the SIGTSTP handler routine

Maybe I ignore some infrequent race condition, but we've been running it
for about two weeks now, and no one has had news die in any new mysterious
way!

If there is a serious problem, lets see a new release soon!
