If he doesn't like a newsgroup, he can have it turned off at the site which sends him that group. I, for one, like net.wobegon and I am glad that Adam at rabbit recreated it. Adam has been doing a good job keeping track of newsgroups (take a bow Adam) and I believe I've seen him occasionally kill a newsgroup that was under-utilitized or un-authorized (am I right?). Also, if someone wants info about how often a newsgroup is used, they might consider checking with the person at rlgvax who has been keeping track of the "top 25 *" news info.
