I suggest that instead of defining a new group, the definition of net.physics
may be broadened to include other physical sciences such as chemistry.  If the
amount and nature of chemical traffic (or degree of objection from other
net.physics readers) warrants, then net.chem could be created later.
The same remarks probably apply to net.astro, but it is too late now.
