Carolina at Chapel Hill Lines: 17 Did anyone watch the CBS evening news Monday night (Jan 9)? Specifically the closing story done by Rather. It briefly described an inventor in Missippii who was trying to patent an 'engine' which could produce up to 10 times the energy required to run it. It was apparently based on revolving magnets. The patent office has turned his patent request down although the physicists who have investigated his work felt it was worth further study (although it seems to be in contradiction of many accepted physical laws). [The story said that essentially the energy was created from matter!]. I would be very interested in any detailed information on this project.
