        I've heard of similar things before.  The only thing I can think of
is that the device is merely tapping the energy stored in the fields of the
magnets.  It may still be worth looking into, since even one of those little
ceramic magnets like you get from Edmund Sci. can have a heck of a lot of
energy stored in their magnetic field.
