Another Ending 1/20/84

It is another ending
   of a friendship old yet new
No anger, just moving on
   to new jobs and lives

Of times remembered fondly
   the laughs and tears
Friends to know and learn
   touching and sharing 

Now gone, we say `keep in touch`
   but this seldom happens
They have gone to new jobs
   I am happy for their change

But the replacement of friendships
   is altogether strange
I hurt inside for crazyness lost
   knowing their choice is right

This is for three friends who have changed jobs recently. Two are already
gone and a third in February.  What a pain.
