I have never been to Colorado before, but I have skiied Sun Valley, Whistler/Blackcomb, and particularly Lake Tahoe (the 'ol weekend up&back is so much \fun/!). :-( Short Review: WHOOPEEEE! Long Review: I skiied Snowmass four days, and Aspen (Mt. Ajax) for the other two days that I was there. The weather was clear for the first two days, it snowed the next two, and then was basically `partly cloudy' the last two. The snow was packed power to hard pack, and I loved it. There were no lift lines of any significance to contend with (I love the off season), and Snowmass is so huge that it's very hard to get bored. I loved it. It was the best skiing I have had in many years. If you have a chance, GO! The nightlife available in Aspen wasn't bad either, although the male to female ratio was very bad from the male point of view. sore thighs from skiing, and sore feet from UniForum, and sore eyes from those damned blinking visors, but really satisfied, Erik E.
