I have just gotten ahold of a real interesting rumor about DEC, and I was
wondering if anyone out there could affirm, deny, or expand upon it.

The rumor states that DEC is so far behind on the development of their own
workstation products (I assume 725 class and the like) that they are going
to an outside vendor for the hardware (cadmas and sun came up in the
conversation). This could either be a stopgap measure or a permanent one,
depending on who you (don't) talk to...

Anyone out there know anything more about this?
