	My previous employer makes bit map displays.  About a year
or so ago they too were considering a "joint project with DEC".
What it really means is that DEC is evaluating about five different
vendors at once.  Don't allow yourself to be kidded.  DEC is
calling all the shots.

	To be fair, I suspect that if you could have asked anyone
else at those companies for a conformation, you would have received
a straight answer.  Salesmen seem to have a tendency to elaborate.

	Small hardware companies are humorious to watch.  Especially
when large volume OEMs sneeze.
