(Especially when the book was a Hugo nominee and won at least one award.) RITE OF PASSAGE is a well-known book by Alexei Panshin and has nothing to do with this book, which, by the way, is one of the most inventive AND enjoyable I've ever read, despite the baby's-liver pate. I recommend it to everyone -- thought it was better than at least three of the other Hugo nominees. Janice -------
