   The McAndrew Chronicles is a collection of stories by Charles Sheffield
(three cheers!), which have appeared in various SF magazines over the last
few years.  A personal note: there are several scientists presently
practicing science-fiction writing.  Charles Sheffield has mastered it;
he need not practice any more (although I sure hope that he does!).
