Yes, it was very nice of her to handle the guy in that way
(touching him on the hand and saying "do ask again later").
The only problem with this is that if the guy is not such
a nice guy, (and we've discussed the problem of locking onto
one positive signal amidst a million negative ones before)
then he might proceed to hassle the woman for the rest of
the night, positive that she really wants to go to bed 
with him.  The reason women are rude is because they have
to protect themselves.  It's a cruel world.
